David S. Neufeld David S. Neufeld, J.D., LL.M. (Taxation) practiced law for over 20 years before forming Integrity Financial Partners. In his law practice he advises individuals on sophisticated wealth planning (encompassing income tax, estate tax, executive compensation, asset protection, insurance and investment planning) and advises institutions on programs utilizing “private placement life insurance” to deliver to their clients tax efficient investment opportunities. In addition David consults with clients and other professionals about tax structures “gone bad,” including how to unwind, actions to take and assistance as an expert witness. Within IFP, which is an independent Advanced Marketing shop which designs and implements creative tax, estate and wealth planning solutions, David and the staff of IFP assist accountants, attorneys and insurance producers to deliver to their successful small business and high net worth clients programs and techniques to achieve tax savings and enhanced investment returns primarily through the use of life insurance products. Of particular note is LIFE SETTLEMENT ANALYTICS™, IFP’s novel fee-based program of analyzing life settlement offers vis-à-vis the other alternatives available to such clients, thereby giving the client and his professional advisors the due diligence tools needed to make the best decision. David is Co-Chair of the Insurance & Financial Planning Committee of the Real Property, Trust & Estate (RPTE) Section of the American Bar Association and the liaison between the RPTE Section and the Society for Financial Service Professionals. In 2006 David became Chairman of the Synergy Summit, a leadership organization whose members include the top leaders from within the ABA, AICPA, SFSP, NAELA, NAEPC and ACTEC. In 2007 David was appointed ABA Advisor to the NCCUSL drafting committee for the “Uniform Insurable Interest in Trust” Law. Recognized for his pioneering work with domestic and offshore limited liability company law, including chairing the Limited Liability Company Task Force for the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Tax Section and drafting the Caribbean island of Nevis’ LLC ordinance, Mr. Neufeld was one of four lawyers in the state to be awarded the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 1998 "Advocacy Award." David is rated AV by Martindale-Hubble, its highest rating, is listed in Who’s Who in American Law, and has been designated an Accredited Estate Planner by the Board of Directors of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. Having received his A.B. from Duke University (1980), his J.D. cum laude from New York Law School (1983) and his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law (1984), David served a two-year appointment as attorney-advisor to Judge Julian I. Jacobs of the United States Tax Court. David has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Prosperity New Jersey and was on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Asset Protection Journal. David is also on the Board of Directors of the United Jewish Federation of Princeton/Mercer/Bucks. David has published over 25 articles and has spoken around the world on the areas of his expertise, as well as having been featured in BusinessWeek, Medical Economics, The Wall Street Journal and CNBC, among others.
